I recently purchased the Yamaha RX-V3800 and got it for a very good deal (but still very expensive). This amplifier is fantastic - sound quality and power is unmatched. The remote control is great, there are so many custom settings which I love - everything can be tweaked and adjusted just perfectly. On screen display works well, the video upscaling is good (but not great as every now and then you see a couple of artefacts for a second) - but it has improved my picture quality a great deal. Using it with the YDS Ipod dock is a dream. If you have the cash, you will not regret this purchase.
