Early SME 3012 advert

Here below is probably the earliest flyer ever published by SME in the US in support of the 3012. The company, to the extent we know, made a mistake when choosing the picture. As you can see here the arm has many Ortofon parts including the main bearing.

Apparently this flyer was immediately withdrawn and replaced including pictures of the 3012 A or I as we know it (knife bearing).
