Hi all. I'd appreciate some advice and direction please. The IDA-8 seems to suffer significant volume loss and sound quality from what I remember when it was new and had a full bright sound. All functions work and nothing obviously wrong is visible from opening it up. I haven't used it for a few years and it's probably time to have it checked and/or repaired by an expert. I am based just outside Cape Town in the south, and hoping to get help nearby.

Hi @kwiebus have you checked that your speakers are in phase? Very easy to cock that up without realising it and it really makes a difference.
